Born on October 1st, 1983 in Iserlohn, Germany, as Alexandera Schmidt, Alex Schmidt is the second child of Alexander Schmidt, a mathematician, and Chu Hua Li, a musician, and the brother of Mei Lin Schmidt.
Alex's gender identity is male, while he is biologically intersex, but how he got there is complicated. Alex has a genetic anomaly that left him with three gender specific chromosomes, XXY. At birth he was assigned female, as he does not have an external penis. However, following a fall down a flight of stairs at an age of 18 months, it was discovered that while he has a female vulva and utherus, he also has a pair of internal testes and a prostate.
After being given this startling diagnosis and that of Alex having the XXY chromosomes, Doctors suggested removing the testes and continuing to raise Alex as a girl, but his parents didn't want either. He had already always been called Alex and raising him in a more gender neutral way was simple.
Alex would have little problems being a boy in Kindergarten and primary school, after his parents talked to the teachers, but problems would come up in secondary school, where several older teachers were only looking at the gender set on his paperwork, rather than what he wished to be seen as. Following the first part of secondary school, called Sekundarstufe I, his parents changed his name to just Alex and had his gender changed to male, before enrolling him in a different school with the start of 7th grade and Sekundarstufe II at age 12.
Puberty was a time Alex likes to call 'the time when nature couldn't make up it's mind'. He developed a feminine body shape, while retaining a more masculine flat chest. On addition his voice lowered considerably, which would later catch many people unaware.
Alex would later identify himself as, 'at most', a twink, as he doesn't go out of his way to dress in feminine outfits, preferring casual clothes. Being a dragon, he has also kept his youthful appearance, aging only slowly since the end of puberty.
After finishing Gymnasium in 1999, he went to the University of Dortmund to study IT, entering the last course to be one a Diplom-Informatiker, before the Germany wide switch to Master and Bachelor, finishing in 2004.
He entered the workforce by becoming the second employee of the IT department of Schmidt Tiefbau, becoming the main server administrator for the company, a job he still retains, even if he has a dislike-hate relationship with SAP.

Sexuality and Fetish¶
Alex is emphatically ace. He doesn't care much for sex, but can tolerate it near him, and sometimes enjoys the certain aesthetic of a pair of rubber clad people fucking.
He is not fully aromantic, but he has a hard time realising if someone is flirting with him, especially since he doesn't flirt at all.
That he is ace does not mean that he doesn't have fetishes and kinks however, and one of his big kinks of latex, ever since he has found his sister's hidden stash of adult materials in his puberty. For him it is almost a lovely aesthetical preference, though the sensation of wearing and smelling latex is important to him as well.
He does like bondage and being unable to move, and sometimes to be treated as a pet.
If some partner tries to have sex with him during a scene, he will unfailingly invoke his safe word and berate them for it, killing the mood and likely their future prospects of having a scene with him again.
